The Resource Management Team sits within the Finance COO Organization.  Our Mission is to serve as a trusted partner across Finance to drive transparency and accountability of Citi’s Resources.  Specifically, this role is for Citi’s Resource Management and will support both Workforce and Technology Investment Management, reporting to the Head of Resource Management.   The team also plays a key role in managing the internal governance processes, including several regulatory commitments, related to Citi’s Transformation Program.  The individual will assist in the creation of needed enhanced control, associated documentation, and verifies that established standards and processes are followed and consistently applied.  Enhanced control and governance of this process is an expected outcome.

This individual will work closely with SMEs to achieve the target state objectives and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the team’s internal governance documentation as it relates to process improvement, change control, and quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, planning, prototyping, productionizing, deploying, maintaining, and documenting reliable and scalable process and operations solution.
  • Maintain excellent working relationship across our network of Finance partners (Investment Coordinators and Business Execution Leads,) Technology partners, and HR partners, to drive Citi’s vision for best practices as it relates to Finance Technology investment and associated governance.   
  • Procedure, control, and process documentation required.
  • Provide effective challenge on the design and stated capabilities and outcomes of Finance Investment Requests and Business cases. Ability to understand complex datasets from multiple sources (business cases intent, year to date spend, forecast spend, multi-year projects), to reach desired outcome and conclusion.
  • A strong focus on risk and controls, including working with team members and partners to identify and raise risks and put in-place appropriate controls to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and standards.
  • Read Policies, Standards and Procedures to understand key pillars, responsibilities, associated risks and expected controls for the business process(es) in scope.
  • Deep and hands-on in deriving concrete insight from Business Case write-ups and associated datasets provided.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

  • Required to dive into details, to support and drive strategic approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing & maintaining internal governance & process management documentation.
  • Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex issues, policies, regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills
  • Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior management.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Ability to contribute, support, and lead efforts to achieve department/ business unit goals.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment
  • 3+  years overall experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$77,280.00 - $115,920.00
