About the role
 
The Senior Business Operations Associate will be a strategic partner across the business who gets into the weeds of our data. You are comfortable in both generating insights and working with stakeholders to implement your proposed solutions. You have strong technical skills but also can communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including senior management.

We are looking for someone who is located in or near the NYC area, as this role will be in person at our NYC headquarters.  The base salary for this role will range from 130,000 - 160,000 per year, and will be eligible for equity, commensurate with experience.
 
What you'll do
  • Analyze trends and underlying issues within the business; you will be responsible for understanding impacts in a multi-sided marketplace
  • Effectively communicate learnings and recommendations to key stakeholders; you will collaborate with stakeholders from across the organization to develop and deliver on your roadmap
  • Drive improvements in our operations with stakeholders across marketing, sales, account management, etc. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic and financial planning for the business
  • Prepare board materials and similar presentations
 
Your experience

  • 2+ years experience in a Business Operations, Business Analyst or Product Strategy/Analytics role at a high growth tech company 
  • Experience working in management consulting, investment banking, or venture capital preferred
  • Must be proficient with SQL and have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Extremely comfortable with financial modeling and complex data analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator; you have the ability to tell a story combining data with qualitative insights, and you understand how to tailor your communication to any audience

    • Marketplace experience
    • Experience with marketing/growth analytics (LTV/CAC, Retention, etc.)
