About the Role

Assistant Manager, Channel Marketing takes ownership on planning and implementation about all the initiatives which are related to channel marketing (i.e. executing all the online and offline campaigns/ activities from agency and PD teams plus from other cross functions).

He/She has to generate new ideas and initiatives to promote strong engagement and brand cohesiveness between all sales force members and AIA Myanmar by setting AIA Myanmar’s brand tone of voice on Healthier, Longer, Better Lives and by monitoring all the communication and creative assets to be integrated with corporate brand marketing objectives.

  • Lead/assist marketing and communication ideation and planning for all channel related initiatives (i.e. all the activities and executions from Agency team, Partnership Distribution team, Member Care Team, Strategy team and/or HR department) in term of idea generation, creative development for visual and content creation by making effortless contribution throughout each campaign starting from planning to execution
  • Provide constructive and collaborative support by executing all the allocated tasks with integrated planning and execution
  • Source new vendors and build special business relationship with all suppliers to produce standard/ high-end quality POSM/ Branded Merchandise/ Premium materials with reasonable price and within a short lead time
  • Have strong control on vendor management by complying with corporate rules and regulations
  • Take lead and monitor the procurement process and take the lead in all documentation process especially financing matters (i.e. vendor registrations, contract signings, issuing approved invoices, claiming reimbursements and any other relevant paperwork) that are related to event and channel marketing under the supervision of the line-manager
  • Build closed and co-operative relationship with each member from the team and other cross functions to liaise and operate each project efficiently and effectively
  • Perform functional responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by line-manager to meet the goals and objectives of the team.
