Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in hatchery solutions.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive competitor overview, including pricing, product portfolio, and market share analysis.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management on market dynamics and growth potential.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard distributors in targeted markets to expand product reach.
Negotiate distribution agreements in line with company standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors to ensure alignment on sales targets and marketing strategies.
Plan and execute commercial trials with key and new customers to demonstrate product performance and value.
Collaborate with technical teams to design trial protocols and conduct data analysis.
Present trial outcomes to customers and internal stakeholders to support product adoption.
Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and grow existing accounts.
Support pricing strategies and promotional campaigns based on market insights.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Monitor and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships within the Hatchery & Nursery segment.
Conduct preliminary assessments on target companies, including financial health, market position, and strategic fit.
Provide recommendations to senior management regarding potential due diligence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Animal Nutrition, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in the aquaculture industry, with an established professional network.
Strong knowledge of aquaculture production systems and feed technologies, ideally in marine fish hatcheries.
Demonstrated experience in market analysis, distributor management, and business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively within South-East Asia and Latin America.
