Compliance Associate

Role Summary

The Compliance Associate supports QuinStreet’s compliance operations by reviewing digital marketing content and resolving client-reported compliance cases, primarily within Credit Cards and Banking. This role works cross-functionally to ensure timely remediation, accurate documentation, and consistent adherence to client and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve client-reported compliance cases and ensure resolution timelines meet client and QuinStreet expectations.
  • Partner with internal teams (Media, Site Editors, Engineering, Operations) and external partners to investigate compliance issues and coordinate remediation.
  • Perform compliance reviews across websites, social media ads, ad campaigns and creative mock-ups.
  • Apply financial regulations, client and QuinStreet guidelines to identify risks, document findings, and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Conduct content audits using monitoring systems and industry tools, validate results, remove false positives, and summarize findings clearly.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, audit documentation, and status updates to support tracking and reporting.
  • Identify recurring issues or trends and support continuous improvement efforts within compliance workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply compliance guidelines consistently across high-volume content.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, client account management, compliance, quality assurance, or data-driven roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred).
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint, Tableau and Salesforce a plus.
