Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and data-driven Product Marketing Manager to join our Automotive team. You'll develop and execute compelling product marketing strategies, deeply understanding consumer needs and translating them into impactful product positioning, compelling value propositions, and strong differentiators for our brands. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deep Consumer Understanding: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer needs and preferences. Identify key consumers for product experience development. 

  • Product Positioning: Develop compelling product positioning statements and articulate reasons to believe (RTBs) that support product positioning and drive consumer preference. 

  • Value Proposition Development: Define and articulate the unique value proposition of each product experience, highlighting key benefits and differentiating features. Develop compelling value propositions that resonate with specific consumer segments. 

  • Toolkit Development: Create insights-led toolkits to support GTM development, articulating consumer needs and identifying bundles of experiences delivering the most value. 

  • Market Research & Insights: Work closely with the insights team to unlock deeper consumer understanding. Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunities. Synthesize research findings into actionable insights. 
     

Required Skills: 

  • Storytelling: Communicate complex insights in a way that inspires action. 

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage confidently with GTM marketing, product management, engineering, sales, and executives. 

  • Consumer Understanding: Natural curiosity about why both B2B partners and end consumers think and act as they do. 

  • Stakeholder Influence: Educate stakeholders about how insights can strategically drive their business. 

  • Balancing Needs: Expertise in influencing the business to effectively understand and balance the needs of end consumers and B2B partners. 

  • Collaboration & Engagement: Collaborative energy and enthusiastic team engagement. 

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the automotive and/or consumer electronics landscape. 

  • Business Acumen: Results-oriented marketer with strong affinity for business acumen, numbers, and metrics. 

  • Communication: Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment in global/matrix environments. 

  • Analytical Skills: Determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts. 

  • Strategic Thinking: See beyond the day-to-day work to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience. 
     

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 

  • 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the consumer electronics or automotive industry. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful product marketing campaigns. 

  • Experience with market research methodologies and tools. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau). 

  • Passion for the automotive industry and a strong interest in technology.
