The HRIS team have a global remit for implementing and supporting HL People, the firm's people information management system, provided by Workday.  Additionally, the team is responsible for producing reports and management information , reward analysis and the annual compensation cycle, as well as supporting other third party cloud based applications for the London People team which include flexible benefits and holiday bookings.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Providing first line support to end users using ServiceNow, conferencing tools and email in response to support queries
  • Performing routine housekeeping data functions such as audit checks
  • Maintaining the alignment of the organisation structures on HL People (Workday) and the role assignments users have assigned to them.
  • Supporting support calls in relation to integrations between HL People (Workday) and other internal/external systems
  • Training of new users with enhanced security access
  • Testing of proposed changes to HL People (Workday) (e.g. security, configuration or business processes) and assisting with mass updates
  • Assist with the deployment of  bi-annual system updates provided by Workday, which includes testing new releases against existing configuration, reviewing training materials and business processes
  • Whilst we have a dedicated reporting team, the post holder may be required to provide assistance with requests for survey submissions and other ad-hoc reporting requirements, including internal and external data requests (e.g. business pitches)
  • Other ad hoc projects, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sound practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) is essential to this role.
  • Good analytical skills (analysis of client expectations as well as analysis of data)
  • Good inter-personal skills - especially written and verbal communications.  Able to explain technical concepts to people without the same technical background to users across the globe.
  • Minimum 6-12 months corporate/ commercial experience within a professional services environment
  • Mindset and aptitude for IT
  • Previous experience of HRIS is essential.
  • Previous HR experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience of handling large volumes of data is preferred.
  • Previous experience of Workday is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of stakeholders at different seniority levels, while being able to tailor responses accordingly
  • Degree-qualified, or equivalent is required. A Business, Information Systems or Mathematics oriented degree is preferred.

HOURS

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including one hour for lunch. Must be flexible to work additional hours.
