Main Purpose:
Is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent.

- Establish and maintain strong engagement with the business and employees
- Conduct meetings with all new hires and address any issues that emerge
- Conduct exit interviews with all resignation cases and review the themes at mid-year and year-end
- Identify under/low performers and support managers to put improvement plans in place
- Understand the current and future priorities for the businesses / employee populations you support and, linked to this, the current or future skills gaps. Partner with managers to have plans to address these gaps
- Partner with managers to foresee and forward plan staffing changes in their team over the next 12 months so that we try to operate on the front foot
- Conduct root cause analysis of high attrition teams and put plans in place to address the issues
- Recruitment/Relocation & On-boarding
- Proactively manage staffing (through partnering with line managers) to ensure low performer is addressed promptly and that headcount is managed tightly and hiring is in context that all roles and workload in the team are already optimized
- Responsible for recruitment for vacancies in the business you support
1. Work with hiring manager on job profile and agree on hiring approach
2. Review and screen CVs of candidates against job profile and refer profiles to hiring manager
3. Facilitate interview arrangements via Reception and arrange for appropriate testing for candidates
4. Conduct HR interview
5. Discuss hiring recommendation with hiring manager and make salary offer recommendations
6. Seek global head /director’s salary offer approval/out-of-budget positions
7. Make offer and negotiate with candidate
8. Arrange and meet candidates/ employees for signing of offer
9. Manage all relocations for all Trading/TGS (except local book/dept head); agree with managers on package and manage concerns with transferees; ensure that all transfers are handled on time and transferees are well transited

- Identify roles in the business you support with higher turnover and/or high-risk/difficult to fill roles; create a robust pipeline of external candidates via cost-effective means
- Organization and Talent Development
- Collaborate with managers to improve the frequency of team meetings and their efficiency.
- Partner with managers to conduct people reviews and succession plan using the new global tools that have been built
- Work with managers to have development plans for the most high potential employees
- Improve the performance of China employees by offering training opportunities and developing their proficiencies in both technical and soft skills.
- Drive talent development plans through cross-departmental projects and other approaches
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
- Native Chinese speaking
- Good command of English and Chinese, both oral and written
- 8 or above years of experience on HR professional fields incl. HPBP ops from an international company / working environment
- Good knowledge of China employment legislation and best practice
- Very good communicator
