Meet the team:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Javascript React Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Javascript, React, and the principles of software development. They will also be passionate about using technology to improve the lives of people with diabetes.

Where you come in:

• You maintain and develop a React UI library using Chakra UI.
• You maintain and develop websites using Next.js, employing different rendering strategies like SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static Site Generation), and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration).
• You perform DevOps tasks, including automations with GitHub Actions.
• You integrate with CMS to manage content for our websites.
• You develop automated tests and unit tests to ensure code quality.
• You develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Nestjs.
• You utilize TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development to ensure type safety and code quality.

What makes you successful:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 5+ years' experience with JavaScript and frameworks like React and Next.js.
• Proficiency in using Chakra UI for building UI components.
• Strong understanding of different rendering strategies in Next.js.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with CMS integration for content management.
• Solid experience in writing automated tests and unit tests.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Nestjs for server-side development.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master’s degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 years experience.
