You’ll be part of a close-knit product team, working with a wide range of stakeholders to drive out our transformation initiatives in the Core Banking division, focussing on tools, services and processes designated to provide support to all CIOs product teams.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Conduct performance testing using JMeter and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain proprietary enterprise distributed performance testing solutions using Python APIs and container infrastructure.
  • Analyse performance test results to identify bottlenecks, areas for optimization, and scalability issues.
  • Perform front-end performance testing and optimization, including experience with Google Lighthouse and other FE performance tools.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement performance testing best practices and methodologies.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for multiple product teams within the bank, providing guidance and support on performance testing strategies and techniques.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse system performance metrics to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of performance testing standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain and evolve our inhouse and cloud performance testing infrastructure.

What you’ll bring.

  • Experience in performance testing, with a focus on web applications, web services, messaging queues, and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in JMeter and other performance testing tools, as well as Dynatrace, Kibana, and other monitoring tools.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript for developing and maintaining performance testing solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex performance data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience with front-end performance testing tools such as Google Lighthouse and Taurus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as an SME and provide guidance to multiple product teams.
  • Good to have AWS certification and hands-on experience with AWS distributed load testing.
