JR59136 Global EHS Senior Audit Program Manager (Evergreen)

As the Global EHS Sr Audit Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of EHS ISO management systems and execution of audit program to validate EHS performance against Micron internal and external standards.

The successful candidate will assume an expert role and provide leadership, direction, education, and overall strategic management of the company’s EHS ISO management systems and audit program.

Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and conduct EHS audits to ensure compliance with requirements of regulatory bodies, Micron EHS internal standards and external international standards such as ISO14001, ISO45001 and RBA.
  • Coordinate audit schedule between multiple international sites with internal and external business partners including Customer Support and other RBA related partners.
  • Coordinate audit corrective action plan to ensure timely completion and follow-up audit when required.
  • Participate in nonconformity review and root cause analysis.
  • Analyze audit data for trends and systemic issue to demonstrate efficiency of audit program.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of EHS management systems business processes through lesson learned and adoption of best practices.
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and other business units.
  • Manage changes related to EHS management systems requirements such as ISO and RBA to ensure effective integration to existing business processes and deployments at facility-level.
  • Develop and monitor metrics to measure the efficiency of management systems and audit processes.
  • Coordinate customer’s requests on EHS management systems and audit programs with relevant partners when necessary.
  • Promote EHS culture throughout the organization.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to new or less experienced auditors at global and site levels.
  • Establish, and maintain collaborative and productive work relationships with partners at all levels.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Relevant auditor’s certification, such as accredited ISO14001/ISO45001 lead auditor training by certified third party
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including understanding in root cause analysis tool
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Multi-language ability such as Chinese, Malay and Japanese are desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong ability to communicate in different cultural and professional settings
  • Strong team player skills and ability to partner and collaborate effectively with cross-functional organizations

Education Required:

Minimum of a B.S. degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Occupational Health Safety), Science or another relevant degree

Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as auditor of EHS management systems, preferably with international audit experience in multi-national corporations
  • At least 5 years’ experience of technical background in environment, health and safety operations and management system in manufacturing, preferably in the electronics or semiconductor industry
  • Excellent understanding of materials, equipment, and processes in electronics manufacturing and associated EHS risks
  • Demonstrate high level of integrity and resiliency in conducting audits
  • Effective negotiation skills and dealing with confrontation
  • Ability to influence others, build consensus, and resolve conflict at all levels of the organization
  • Organized and meticulous, with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
