Job Description

PTC is seeking a dynamic Field Marketing Specialist to drive partner engagement and revenue growth through strategic channel marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for setting sales goals, developing and executing partner marketing programs, and supporting a wide range of activities—from trade shows and digital campaigns to product launches and sales training. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of channel ecosystems, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets and optimize marketing performance.

Responsibilities

  • Set sales goals and develop channel marketing programs to achieve these goals.
  • Develop positive working relationship with channel partners to generate revenue.
  • Assist partners in the execution of channel marketing programs to increase product sales within customer base.
  • Support partner marketing activities including trade shows, online advertising, campaigns, and emails to develop brand awareness.
  • Keep partners up to date with the new products and enhancements.
  • Prepare marketing collaterals and newsletters for partners.
  • Monitor and manage expenses within allotted marketing budget.
  • Assist in continuously improving and optimizing channel marketing programs.
  • Plan and organize product launch event, sales training, and other marketing events for partners and customers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of channel marketing program.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in channel marketing, partner marketing, or a similar role within a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful channel marketing programs.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and partner ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with partners.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, email marketing, digital advertising, event management).
  • Ability to create compelling marketing collateral and content tailored to partner needs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and optimize accordingly.
  • Budget management experience and ability to track and report on marketing spend.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience organizing and executing partner events, product launches, and sales training.
  • Familiarity with co-marketing and MDF (Market Development Funds) programs.
  • Knowledge of the industry or product category relevant to the company’s offerings.
