This Software Engineer is a member of the Testing team and is accountable for supporting the Testing Tools. In this role, the individual is primarily responsible for resolving the incidents/Requests for tools like ALM, Jira, WorkSoft. The resource sill also be Tracking/Monitoring of License Usages for the tools used in Testing team. This resource will also work with tools vendor for open issues/new requests. Also will be responsible for creating/updating the QRG’s , WI’s documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective support for testing tools, including ALM, JIRA, Confluence, NeoLoad, WorkSoft BPP, WorkSoft Execution Manager, WorkSoft Certify, ConformIQ, and Archive Manager.

  • Resolve requests and incidents related to the supported tools, ensuring that issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

  • Perform patch upgrades for all the CI in scope, ensuring that the tools are up-to-date and functioning properly.

  • Maintain the ServiceNow Knowledge Base, creating and refining articles to ensure that users have access to accurate and helpful information.

  • Update and maintain quick reference guides and procedure documents in DocIT and PDHQ, ensuring that users have access to the latest information.

  • Update and maintain the Confluence Knowledge Base, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Provide technical guidance, training, and demos to users, helping them to get the most out of the supported tools.

  • Track and monitor license usage, ensuring that the tools are being used effectively and efficiently.


Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in testing tools such as ALM, JIRA, Confluence, Neoload, WorkSoft BPP, WorkSoft Execution Manager, WorkSoft Certify, ConformIQ, and Archive Manager.

  • 2-3yrs Experience in providing technical support for testing tools, including resolving requests and incidents, performing patch upgrades, and maintaining knowledge bases and documentation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, testing frameworks, and quality assurance processes.

  • Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.

  • Experience in providing technical guidance, training, and demos to users.

  • Knowledge of license management and usage tracking tools.
