General information:
 

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for its Crystal Springs, MS location. This role is responsible for coordinating printed documents and data entry for production workers in a dynamic, fast paced factory environment that manufactures small power transformers.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage printed engineering materials to support daily production of factory floor workers

  • Document 250+ hourly workers activities and down time in MES Lite for Direct Labor Efficiency reports.

  • Administrative duties to support Operations managers as assigned, such as expense and invoices

  • Collect assignment sheets of scheduled jobs from production managers in multiple departments on the shop floor.

  • Meet daily with supervisors on changes to assignments and data entry of hours worked.

  • Support supervisors in daily office clerical tasks as assigned.

  • Print and distribute engineering drawings for next day production to necessary teams on the shop floor.

  • Maintain records of hourly workers and perform data analysis of hourly worker trends at the request of Production Managers.

  • Create monthly reports in Excel or Power BI for Operations managers regarding improvements to production efficiency and outliers, and other reports to support production.

Your Background:     

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs

  • Associate’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of manufacturing or relevant experience.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in administrative work.

  • Highly organized, with attention to detail.

  • Strong English communications skills, both written and oral.

  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma is preferred, but not required.

  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly, such as reloading multiple high-volume printers in an office environment.
