SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Vice President, Global Operations/Quality is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all Operations/Manufacturing/Quality functions.
This includes:
End-to-End Semiconductor Manufacturing: Assembly, Test, Probe, and Manufacturing Engineering.
Global Supply Chain: Sub-contractor/Foundry Management, Planning, Procurement, Logistics.
Quality & Reliability
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and lead the Operations/Manufacturing/Quality vision, strategy, and operational plans, aligning with Allegro's overall strategic goals and annual plans. Develop/provide leadership to a high-performance organization.
Own and drive the Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process, ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Maintain expert level understanding of the global semiconductor market, including wafer supply/demand dynamics.
Secure and manage strategic relationships with foundries and subcontractors to ensure sufficient capacity for Allegro's growth trajectory.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in semiconductor probe, assembly, and test equipment and processes.
Prepare the manufacturing organization for sustained growth and performance by:
Staffing and upskilling the workforce.
Optimizing utilization.
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives (test flow, yield enhancement, quality).
Developing and executing alternative strategies to expand manufacturing capabilities, targeting revenue levels of $2.0 - $3.0 billion.
Proactively manage and allocate capital expenditures (CAPEX) to ensure adequate factory space, equipment, and tooling are in place to meet current and future demand.
Drive Gross Margin improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team.
Cultivate a "quality-first" culture across the organization, embedding quality into all aspects of the business.
Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to contribute to Allegro's overall vision and strategic direction, with a focus on operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
15+ years of executive leadership experience (VP or C-level) in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and quality.
Experience with automotive and industrial industry manufacturing and quality standards is highly preferred.
BS degree in Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration. MBA preferred.
Proven track record of managing large budgets, including multi-million-dollar CAPEX.
Strategic, conceptual, and operational thinker with a strong business acumen.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills at the executive and BOD level.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence key stakeholders as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive breakthrough solutions.
Professional with a high level of integrity who leads by example and take corrective action where necessary.
Ability to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time.
