The opportunity:
We are sourcing a Senior Client Development Manager to join our AIA Retail Distribution team in Sydney. Reporting to the Regional Manager - Client Development NSW/ACT you will drive new business growth across our New South Wales business by servicing and growing adviser distribution.
To do this successfully you will:
- Work closely with the Regional Manager in the development and training of the NSW Client Development team. Ensuring it meets it regional targets and plays an integral roll in contributing to overall national performance.
- Support a panel of key advisers, assisting them to grow their businesses in a manner which is mutually beneficial to AIA
- Build and develop relationships with key advisers and local dealer group management
- Meet yearly production and retention targets across the Life Insurance and Health Insurance portfolio.
- Closely follow and champion the Client Development Management model within your state
- Provide product education and support to advisers and their support staff
- Raise the profile of AIA at various PD days, conferences and industry events (both locally and nationally)
- Help lead and develop the Client Development Associates in their panel management and growth
- Provide guidance and direction to your aligned Client Development Support person to help them in their roles, as well as your aligned panel.
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Previous senior business development experience within the life insurance or financial services industry is essential
- Completion of RG146 qualification
- Successful completion of a Diploma of Financial Services qualification
- Exceptional customer engagement skills and experience
- High level verbal and written communication skills
