Position Purpose:

The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance Oversight:

    • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions as necessary.

  • Multi-State Compliance Management:

    • Manage compliance requirements across multiple states, ensuring consistency and adherence to state-specific regulations.

    • Collaborate with legal counsel and regulatory agencies as needed to interpret and address compliance issues.

  • Geo Administration and Licensing:

    • Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required for operations in various states.

    • Coordinate with regional managers and operational teams to streamline processes and ensure timely renewals and updates.

  • Policy Development and Training:

    • Develop and update compliance policies, guidelines, and training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.

    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the organization.

  • Risk Management and Reporting:

    • Monitor and assess compliance risks and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.

    • Recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize compliance-related liabilities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with internal departments such as Legal, Human Resources, Operations, and Finance to align compliance efforts with business objectives.

    • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders.

Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in a multi-state environment; BPO experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

The anticipated base salary range for this remote position is between $220,000 - $250,000. In addition, Everise provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include commission earnings and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
