What You Will Do:
Guidehouse’s Life Sciences team serves as a close partner to leading pharma, biotech, and med tech companies as they navigate the complexities of drug / device development and commercialization amidst a dynamic healthcare landscape. We work with these manufacturers and their investors to ignite and sustain transformation, with a focus on commercial strategy and operations, market access, and business redesign. Our experts assist clients across key service areas such as pipeline & portfolio optimization, launch & brand, value & access, patient services, and transformation.
 

Senior Consultants have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own project workstreams and interact with the client daily to ensure engagement success. This includes supporting day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Senior Consultants are expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will lead, coach and mentor consultants and ensure quality deliverables.

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 0 years 

  • Minimum Degree Status: Advanced degree (Must still be enrolled in an accredited advanced degree program (MBA, MD, PharmD, or PhD) in Fall of 2024 and graduate by Summer 2025) 

 
If a candidate does not have the requisite experience and education, they may be submitted to the Consultant opportunity for consideration. 


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Prior work experience in the healthcare and/or consulting industries 

  • Demonstrated interest in Life Sciences consulting 

  • Exhibit critical thinking, creativity, and strong oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and coach team members 

  • Must exhibit ability to grasp clinical and business implications of technically complex products and services 

  • Must exhibit project management skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams 

  • Must demonstrate willingness to travel and work overtime when require 

 

As part of the interview process for this opportunity, candidates will be asked to complete two industry-specific case studies. The first case study will be a presentation, the prompt for which will be provided 7 days in advance of the scheduled interview. The second case will be a spot case administered by the interviewer in real time. 

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
