About the Team

The Productivity Technology team is looking for exceptional individuals to join our team and to partner in creating a set of enterprise software experiences, intent on making Workday data more approachable and usable. We build high-quality applications and service offerings. We collaborate constantly and continually look for ways to work better together. We’re always getting better. This position is located in Boulder, CO with at least 50% time in the office.

About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile Product Strategist to drive strategy and help launch new products within the Productivity Technology organization with a focus in the Data and Content Generation products. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic product strategist who thrives on learning new technologies and working on fun and challenging projects that have an impact on our core technology platform. It’s a hands-on role, where you’ll be working to understand customer needs and leading product features from concept into our users hands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product/platform strategy across the Data & Content Generation products.

  • Identify and translate key market / industry / technology trends, competitive intelligence and prospect / customer feedback into concrete and innovative product capabilities.

  • Create product/platform vision based on the market opportunity, target customers, product positioning, competitive analysis and go-to-market plans. Ensure alignment with Product Strategy to enable a unified vision.

  • Partner closely across the company to define how we commercialize, launch and deliver new products and functionality.

  • Work with the Product teams to define and maintain the long-term (three year) product strategy and investment priorities that contribute to the roadmap and ensure clarity of vision.

  • Work with strategic customers and stakeholders to provide thought leadership, vision and define the participation, direction and focus.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leading product management or product strategy of technology solutions or strategies

Other Qualifications

  • Experience with technology strategy as a product manager, administrator, or consultant

  • Experience creating and communicating enterprise software product strategies to all levels of leadership

  • You are a collaborative teammate who uses influential leadership to coordinate and deliver results across teams.

  • You see product development as a team effort, and thrive in a highly collaborative, agile, continuous discovery and continuous delivery approach

  • Ability to think about problems from different perspectives and demonstrate data driven analysis to drive roadmap development and prioritization.

  • Naturally curious to understand why; skilled at asking questions to deepen understanding.

  • Passionate for information consumption, synthesis, analysis, identifying the signal through the noise to develop concepts and conceptual models

  • Ability (and passion for) using data to define scalable solutions, develop roadmaps, and drive prioritization

  • You know how to manage risk


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $168,000 USD - $252,000 USD

Additional CAN Location(s) Base Pay Range: $148,600 - $223,000 CAD
