About you and this role

We have a great opportunity to join Packaging and Specialty Plastics (P&SP) business as a Customer Service Specialist located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.

As a Customer Service Specialist you serve South Europe region, specifically Italian customers. You act as the interface between customers and the business value chain partners to deliver exceptional service to our customers and drive profitability to Dow. You provide solutions to the customer while managing operational needs and collaborating closely with functional partners (Manufacturing, Marketing & Sales, Supply Chain, etc.) to meet company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the order entry process and manage the order fulfillment process for a given business or group of businesses and customers, which are typically priority and foundational customers with a high degree of complexity.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the businesses’ products, businesses, applications, and service offerings.
  • Strengthen customer intimacy by developing solid relationships, understanding customer needs and gathering market intelligence.
  • Coordinate activity at assigned customer accounts, proactively address issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain service levels according to business prioritization.
  • Differentiate between customer requirements and Dow capabilities; choose the best/cost effective solution.
  • Support commercial strategies with Dow customers across multiple businesses.

Qualifications

  • You have minimum a bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior relevant working experience of 2-5 years would be beneficial.
  • You are fluent in both Italian and English language.
