What you have:
Experience managing managers, and influencing teams indirectly
A strong desire to collaborate with Product, Design, and other cross-functional leaders to help push initiatives forward
Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, including Agile methodologies, continuous delivery, and DevOps
A track record of developing strong engineering talent, both ICs and managers
Experience driving technical discussions, and an ability to go into depth when necessary on key decisions.
A drive to establish engineering best practices on the team, including testing, CI/CD, a focus on metrics, etc.
Demonstrated industry experience in the News, Publishing, or Content Management Systems space.

The compensation for this position ranges from $160,965.00 - $349,885.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
