About the Team
This role is part of the User Experience Product Marketing team. Our job is to leverage Workday's user experience as a key differentiator to drive upsell, renewals, sales, and positive user sentiment. We make sure that the user experience features and functionality—whether or not they are directly monetized—have strong awareness and are incorporated into the overall go-to-market narrative and enablement strategy.About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned product marketer who is passionate about creating outstanding user experiences and driving innovation in workplace technology. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping how Workday's User Experience integrates third-party applications, influencing the experience of thousands of users globally. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to create compelling narratives and execute high-impact marketing strategies.

Be a Strategic Storyteller: Craft clear, compelling messaging that resonates with diverse customer personas, simplifying complex concepts into customer-friendly language. Your communication will ensure that our user experience vision is understood and valued by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships across product management, sales, customer experience, marketing, and external partners. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align on strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
Drive Product Excellence: Partner to build product strategy by bringing customer and market insights directly into product discussions, helping to shape the roadmap and ensuring that Workday delivers meaningful, differentiated value.

Results-Driven: You are proactive and results-oriented, with a proven track record of driving successful product launches, enablement programs, and competitive positioning initiatives.
Collaborative and Relationship-Focused: You thrive on building strong, collaborative relationships and have experience navigating a matrixed environment to achieve shared objectives. Your partnership skills help break down silos and foster alignment across teams.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 6-9 years of experience in product marketing, product management, user experience or a related filed.
Project experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project simultaneously with strong attention to details
Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization, with a proven track record of building collaborative relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations to senior leadership and customers or external audiences.
Other Qualifications
Experience leading successful product launches and enablement programs
Familiarity with enterprise software industry, specifically UX-driven solutions
Strong storytelling and content creation skills
Experience with competitive positioning initiatives
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
