The opportunity

With acquisition being one of the important pillars under Growth Marketing, the Customer Acquisition Manager is a new position that will be responsible for overseeing the entire lead lifecycle, from generation through conversion. This role will augment the 2 positions handling the other 2 pillars, namely, Customer Portfolio Management & Engagement and MarTech.

Responsibilities:

  • Owns the lead or prospective customer acquisition strategy and end-to-end lead management process, which covers campaign conceptualization/ designing, implementation, monitoring & post-evaluation

  • Leverages on performance marketing and data analytics insights to identify new lead generation opportunities and/or optimize the marketing funnel 

  • Formulate and design campaigns to capture, nurture and convert leads / prospects

  • Lead the cross-functional teams (e.g. CX and propositions) to develop the ideal lead/ prospect journey to better connect, nurture and engage them and drive greater marketing and sales effectiveness 

  • Partners with performance marketing and analytics team to manage and optimize the entire leads lifecycle: from generation of campaign leads, A/B testing, tracking, maintenance and enhancement of the leads dashboard to evaluate campaign effectiveness/efficiency

  • Co-develop and execute holistic change management programs with the distribution channels (e.g. agency and bank partner) to drive leads utilization and conversion 

  • While applying a customer-centric, insights-driven approach, develops and sets the funnel requirements with the technology team: leads allocation / distribution through Manulife platforms, management of user acceptance and usability testing, real-time leads funnel tracking and reporting

Individual Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for overseeing the entire lead lifecycle, from generation through conversion

  • Accountable for delivering the KPIs/ metrics (e.g. lead conversion, lead count, etc.)

Key Shared Accountabilities:

  • Together with Performance Marketing and Analytics, accountable for generating campaigns, identifying lead gen opportunities, enabling end to end lead performance tracking

  • Together with IS and Distribution, accountable for enabling a seamless lead allocation/ distribution via Manulife platforms

  • Together with Distribution, accountable for crafting and execution of change management initiatives to ensure program adoption by our distributors

What we are looking for

  • College degree (bachelor’s degree in any major)

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in leads acquisition / management, customer retention, engagement or lifecycle management, marketing & business development or other related functions

  • Demonstrated strength in strategic and analytical thinking, strong financial and business acumen is a plus

  • Showcased strength in project management through previous formal or informal positions of working with cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead change

  • Flexible, results oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • A self-starter with an ability to multi-task

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
