We are seeking an Aftercare Visit (ACV) Specialist to serve as the dedicated connection between our stand-alone mortuaries and the families we support. In this role, you will focus on what matters most: building meaningful, compassionate relationships with families following their time of need, offering guidance, and discussing resources that help protect their future.

As an ACV Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for all aftercare services, providing exceptional post-service support and ensuring every family receives the care, clarity, and respect they deserve. You will proactively schedule After Care Visit appointments and communicate the importance of pre-planning by presenting our Personal Planning Guides.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the key point of contact for all aftercare at-need cases, including call-in and walk-in families
  • Provide exceptional post-service support and consistent follow-through
  • Proactively schedule and conduct After Care Visit appointments
  • Educate families on the value of pre-planning using our Personal Planning Guides

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience in Family Service or Pre-Arranged Funeral Planning
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care while meeting sales goals
  • Self-motivated professional with strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other internal systems to manage client activity

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Licenses

  • Ability to obtain and maintain insurance license as required by state/province
  • Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Experience

  • Sales or Customer experience preferred
  • Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) sales systems preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient computer skills including MS office suite
  • Proficient computer skills with CRM and Social Networking Apps preferred
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Bilingual, knowledge of another language preferred
  • Professional attire required when meeting with clients or representing the company
  • Available to work evenings and weekends

  • Work indoors during all seasons and weather conditions

  • Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day

Physical Demands

  • Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage

  • Working beyond “standard” hours as the need arises

Salary:

$18.00\hour ($45,000 - $100,000 annualized targeted first year earnings)
