Role Overview:
We have an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing Dublin-based Compliance team, working with other high-performing and expert colleagues in Dublin and across the globe. This role sits within the Services Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) team. This Assistant Vice President product compliance senior analyst role will focus on liquidity management products such as deposits, cash concentration, notional pooling and off-balance sheet investments globally as well as regulatory matters in Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with Citi's compliance efforts, including internal strategies, policies, procedures, processes, and programs to prevent violations of law, rule, or regulation. You will also engage with the ICRM Product and Function coverage teams, in order to partner to develop and apply ICRM program solutions that meet the product and customer needs in a manner consistent with the Citi programme framework.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to work across several coverage areas and build on compliance skills such as monitoring, product reviews, policy development, international transactions, third party management, regulatory change, product support and training development and delivery.
What you’ll do:
Assist in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programmes, policies and practices for ICRM.
Proactively participate in governance and risk management forums in order to provide effective guidance and credible challenge in relation to compliance risk matters.
Provide guidance on rules and regulations relating to product operational issues, as well as, provide transactional approvals and interpretation of internal compliance policies.
Collaborate with other internal areas including: Legal, Business Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, other Control Functions the Services business to address compliance issues which may impact the supported product.
Assist in the development and administration of Compliance training for the supported product.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we’ll need from you:
Experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof
Strong working knowledge of Citi and/or the Services Liquidity products and/or European regulation a plus.
Working knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies
Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive with an interest in compliance and banking products and an appetite to learn
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to both work collaboratively and independently; ability to navigate a complex organization
Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
Work collaboratively with regional and global partners in other functional units; ability to navigate a complex organization.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree
Compliance certification a plus
