The Opportunity:

In this role you will lead a team responsible for implementation, configuration, and administration of multiple ServiceNow instances using the IT Operations Management Module.  You will lead the team to configure the system to do network discovery and integrate the data collected into Axonius.  The team will also configure and manage the CMDB Data Model (tables and attributes) to receive reconciled and normalized data into the CMDB from Axonius.

Your team will be responsible for input to the implementation architecture, will recommend Government policy changes (if necessary), and support architecture and design changes throughout the CMDB lifecycle.  The team will also deploy MID servers, configure & execute scans, and deploy agents to systems. 

You will identify and coordinate with Department of Air Force Base points of contact (POCs) and system owners to mitigate firewall and credential issues.  You and network engineers on your team may be required to travel to the bases to resolve these issues.  The team will identify risks and issues related to firewalls and credentials preventing scanning the entire DAF network.

You will be responsible for contract deliverables including test plans, Data Management Plan, Architecture Plan, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), training, and a security assessment.

Lastly, you will report status and help maintain updates to the project schedule working with the CMDB Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Project Management or Technical Lead Experience
  • ServiceNow ITOM experience
  • Networking experience
  • A strong understanding of ITSM, and ITIL. 
  • A proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. 
  • Acts independently to expose and resolve problems.
  • Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint
  • Experience implementing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.
  • Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization’s business areas.
  • Working knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Axonius Platform experience


Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
  • 12+ Years relevant experience (a Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience)
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal.

Desired Skills:

  • Agile or Scrum Master Certification
  • JavaScript/AngularJS development experience. 
  • System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP. 
  • One of the following certifications: 

-Certified ServiceNow Administrator 

-Certified ServiceNow Developer 

  • Experience working in the Department of Defense

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
