About the role

The Assistant Vice President II, Enterprise Architecture will drive components of Enterprise Architecture Strategy and Innovation and/or Architecture Community Standards and Governance.

  • Develops architecture standard and requirements based on internal and emerging technologies.
  • Provides feedback on the development of standards in alignment with the architecture.
  • Liaises with Enterprise Architecture and business and application architecture communities.
  • Reviews overall environment and architecture. Creates and maintains architecture models.
  • Defines and maintains architecture baselines and roadmaps. 
  • Assists in promoting architecture transition initiatives.
  • Governs architecture usage, and establishes architecture management framework.

Scope and Impact:

  • All Enterprise Architecture roles are Corebridge Financial-wide roles that cover Global / Multi-Regional Business Units/Functions.
  • Drive components of Enterprise Architecture Strategy and Innovation and/or Architecture Community Standards and Governance.

Problem Solving:

  • Identifies and resolves increasingly complex problems/issues/ assignments.
  • Often responsible for resolving unclear situations utilizing expertise in specialized field.

Autonomy and Decision Making:

  • Applies advanced analysis within area of architectural specialization to make decisions.
  • Decision-making authority may extend beyond the area of specialization to include unit/team.
  • Sets priorities and/or sequence of tasks to achieve objectives with minimal oversight.

Leadership:

  • Often provides architectural oversight and leadership.
  • Influence often spans across units/teams and area of specialization.
  • Provides guidance and support to junior-level peers.

Knowledge Expertise:

  • Has intermediate knowledge and understanding of technical architecture, existing, new and emerging technologies and processing environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), APIs, Open data, Microservices, DevSecOps, Event-driven IT. Predictive analytics and AI/ML.
  • Resource for information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
  • 7+ years of IT Developer and/or Enterprise Architecture experience.

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, or Woodland Hills, California, the base salary range is $115,000 - $135,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
