We are looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Institutional team in our London office. Blockchain.com is a high-performance culture marked by fearlessness and hyper-productivity. WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Use innovative cutting-edge technology to reduce complexity and improve trading performance.
  • Partner closely with traders and engineers, taking ownership of both trading & operational issues.
  • Design, maintain and support low-latency trading systems, ensuring minimal delays in data processing and transaction execution.
  • Contribute to our cloud-native continuous delivery stack, improving developer experience and deployment processes for our internal platforms.
  • Liaise closely with the core SRE team to give feedback regarding tooling and to implement upstream policies  
  • Integrate code that leverages established practices with infrastructure-based tooling
  • Develop monitoring tools for our institutional services
  • Streamline and maintain a Python/Rust-based infrastructure for production trading; manage production servers with a focus on scalability, fault-tolerance, and cost efficiency.
  • Continuously improve security, reliability, and cost-efficiency across the platform through automation and best DevOps practices.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices in CI/CD, cloud, and infrastructure management.
  • Understand deeply the existing architecture being used at Blockchain.com, implement best practices within the Institutional teams and drive consistency with the rest of the platform

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Proficiency with CI/CD technologies (GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Strong Python, SQL & Linux skills
  • Knowledge of Rust is not required but would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS & GCP) with hands-on experience in public cloud environments.
  • Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad).
