Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions to complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields. DTS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities.

This position will require the candidate direct all quality aspects of a new program. The candidate should have knowledge of manufacturing practices. These activities will include but no limited to: Assembly operations / controls, testing, Non-conformances, root cause investigation, internal and 3rd party audits. This position will manage the non-conformances, managing the Quality flow downs to suppliers, Inspection instructions. This position will follow up on all internal audit finding to drive the closure of the open issues. This job will audit and ensure all operation steps are being followed per the instructions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a BS degree in and 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree with 2-6 years of experience.  In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED or equivalent education with 8 years of relevant quality control experience will be considered.
  • Candidate should have at least 6 years of quality experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system or equivalent experience in DOD, Aerospace, or manufacturing quality control.
  • Candidate should have experience in manufacturing or production Quality auditing.
  • Candidate must have experience working with non-conforming material, performing failure analysis, identifying root cause, and implementing corrective action.
  • Candidate must have experience in interpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Candidate should have experience with Government FAR/DFAR regulations.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
