The Process Engineering team is responsible for process development and associated equipment ensuring on time availability of the production line for the new products. The Process Technician will support Process & Design Engineers in several process development tasks related to prototype builds, machine installation and validation, process documentation and basic statistical analysis.

  • Support Process Engineers in the development of new production processes and/or adapt existing production processes for the assembly and testing of new products meeting customer specifications and make site Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Assist with providing guidelines to ensure proper training to the operators in the new assembly process for new products.
  • Develop process documentation such as work instructions and visual aids.
  • Support Process Engineers in the machine process qualifications.
  • Build engineering (prototyping) samples and support start of production (SOP) for each new program collecting process data and create manufacturing engineering reports.
  • Perform basic statistical analysis during sample build process to ensure critical characteristics stay under control vs specifications.
  • Knowledge transfer to make site personnel for new products, process and equipment.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge for disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial.
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
  • Ability to positively influence and build relationships with other teams.
  • Experience with process engineering in a production environment.
  • Understanding principles of some core tools like SPC, Control Plan, PFMEA, Flow Diagram.
  • Ability to identify & correct problems using some basis of the six-sigma methodology.
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word.

Hourly Base Pay Range:

$23.20 - $31.90
