Also includes identifying, tracking, and remediating vulnerabilities in systems, as well as educating IT on security threats. The Senior Analyst will work closely with IT teams, development teams, security teams, and other partners to develop a strong emphasis on security and continuous improvement.

Working in Cyber Security Operations demands a dedication to balancing capability and risk—employing preventive controls against known exploits while maintaining constant vigilance. We're on the front lines of handling vulnerabilities, performing crucial risk assessments, and making critical decisions. You will collaborate with a highly motivated team passionate about analyzing, prioritizing, developing, and deploying solutions crafted to thwart adversaries and fortify our security posture. Your research and efforts will ensure the stability and resilience of our current and emerging technology products, as well as our extensive application stack. By closely collaborating with internal teams across Security and various Lines of Business, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at improving customer confidence through proactive measures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Educate our organization on cybersecurity guidelines for cloud computing and assist in developing security solutions that promote effective implementation of these practices.

  • Engage in shaping and articulating Nvidia's cloud security strategy and vision by staying informed about emerging trends and threats in cloud security.

  • Assist in defining and implementing cloud security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards (e.g., NIST, CIS), regulations, and recommended guidelines.

  • Maintain vigilant oversight of cloud environments to uncover security incidents and vulnerabilities.

  • Ensure compliance of cloud services with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) through thorough regulatory reviews and the development of mitigation strategies. Prepare for and participate in security audits and assessments.

  • Conduct regular reviews of SaaS application security configurations, providing actionable recommendations to IT for proactive implementation.

What we need to see:

  • 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing, specializing in designing and implementing security measures that follow 'infrastructure as code' and 'automate-first' principles.

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education, training, or professional experience.

  • Experience in designing security solutions for distributed and cloud-native applications, focusing on technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless functions. Emphasizing automated deployment in Agile/DevOps environments.

  • Demonstrable experience in helping design and implement cybersecurity solutions for infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, and GCP in mixed cloud environments.

  • Effective in encouraging a unified vision for Cloud Security and adept at encouraging relationships with collaborators across various groups within Nvidia.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • Preferred qualifications include certifications in Azure, AWS, and/or GCP. Relevant training and certifications as a Cloud Security Engineer are highly valued.

  • One or more security certifications (CISSP, SSCP, CSSP, GISP, Security+, etc.)

  • Previous experience in solving security challenges in a Hybrid cloud environment (workloads spread across on-premise and public cloud)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity scanning tools including Prisma, Tenable, Qualys, Tanium, Crowd Strike, and other tools is an advantage.

  • Experience in working with data sources via SQL, APIs, and Splunk will be highly useful.
