About the Role

The incumbent plays a pivotal role in driving the reporting of a strong People and Culture narrative for AIA Group’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, enhancing AIA’s employer brand through targeted communications and securing key employer-of-choice awards, and handling the Group-level employee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to connect employees with AIA’s purpose. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee reporting for the People and Culture pillar, including establishing relevant critical metrics and proof points, and preparation of reports. Collaborate with HR partners to ensure that people-related products and practices reflect AIA's people narrative, thereby enhancing the company's reputation as a responsible and innovative employer
  • Ensure the timely preparation of comprehensive and compelling regulatory reports and responses related to People and Culture, adhering to global standards and good practices, including those set by the Hong Kong Exchange
  • Create and implement strategies to effectively convey AIA's employee value proposition both internally and externally, improving AIA's brand positioning to attract top talent across the region. This includes handling external agencies to produce high-quality employer branding materials
  • Identify, pursue, and secure opportunities for Group-level recognition as an employer of choice and demonstrate thought leadership to bolster AIA’s employer brand. Additionally, work with local business units to seek local employer-of-choice awards, strengthening AIA’s employer brand in local markets
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers and partners to deliver a Group-wide employee CSR program, aimed at boosting employee engagement by amplifying AIA’s social impact and supporting the AIA One Billion movement

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Skilled creative communicator with superior written and verbal communication skills in English. Communications experience should include having worked with senior leaders to independently prepare external-facing communications materials for a number of years in public listed companies
  • Preferably also with experience delivering creative communications projects
  • Successfully led and handled 2+ mid- to large-scale projects with cross-functional teams and external providers, demonstrating outstanding influencing abilities, ability to drive impact through collaboration and aligning shared goals
  • An HR practitioner or with an in-depth understanding of the HR function in a mid- to large-sized company, with 5+ years’ work experience of influencing delivery in various HR fields in order to achieve corporate people outcomes
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously within a complex environment while developing and implementing strategies and solutions, exhibiting strong ownership, accountability, and impactful efforts
