About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer I with 5+ years of experience to design and deliver robust, scalable software solutions that prioritize human-centered design, security, and performance. You’ll architect systems for future growth, mentor engineers, and guide your team through Agile practices to deliver meaningful value to users.

Responsibilities

• Software Development & Architecture
  • Build full-stack applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, and .NET
  • Architect scalable systems using well-accepted design patterns
  • Anticipate future use cases and design for flexibility and growth
• Cloud & Infrastructure
  • Operate within Azure and AWS environments
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Optimize developer experience using monorepos, Docker, and platform engineering practices
• Quality, Testing & Observability
  • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests aligned with the testing pyramid
  • Use observability data to drive performance and stability improvements
  • Lead debugging efforts across services and domains
• Security
  • Apply OWASP Top 10 principles and lead security-first development practices
  • Refine team security strategies and mentor others in secure coding
• Agile Delivery & Leadership
  • Break down epics and projects for incremental delivery
  • Manage dependencies and prioritize work in alignment with strategic goals
  • Facilitate retrospectives and drive continuous improvement
• Human-Centered Design
  • Advocate for end-user needs and accessibility throughout the development lifecycle
  • Lead design reviews and experimentation efforts to validate ideas
  • Mentor the team in ethical, inclusive, and privacy-conscious engineering
• Strategic Collaboration
  • Align engineering efforts with business and product strategy
  • Build strong relationships with teammates, stakeholders, and clients
  • Contribute to cross-team strategic initiatives and product innovation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Proven expertise in full-stack development and system architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD tools
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and human-centered design
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance monitoring
• Passion for ethical, secure, and user-focused software development
