We are seeking a Data Insight Analyst (Level 4) to join our Digital HR and Workday team remotely or in Falls Church, Virginia. This position requires a quick learner who is data-savvy and solution-oriented. 

As a Workday Data Insight Analyst you will:

  • Be at the forefront of Northrop Grumman's ongoing digital transformation journey by delivering capabilities that will drive the insights and behavior of leaders

  • Grow and expand your proficiency in Workday reporting and analytics capabilities

  • Collaborate with and learn from a supportive, high performing team of professionals with opportunities to learn more about and influence the modeling and analytics being used by Northrop Grumman leaders to guide people decisions

  • Gain exposure to people operations of a Fortune 100 company

  • Report to the Digital HR and Workday Product Manager and be a key member of the Workday team

You'll be responsible for:

  • Developing reporting & analytics solutions within Workday both independently and in collaboration with other Workday team members

  • Responding to ad hoc data delivery requests and troubleshooting user issues

  • Researching new Workday reporting & analytics features and determining how best to meet user needs

  • Educating end users on Workday reports and dashboards

You'll deliver on these responsibilities by:

  • Applying your knowledge of Northrop Grumman people data, Workday product resources (e.g., Workday Community), and the collective knowledge of our high-performing Workday team to collaborate on solutions

  • Partnering with stakeholders and end users to identify pain points and discover opportunities for how you can delight users with new ways of viewing and interacting with data

  • Creating, testing, demoing, and seeking feedback on the reports and dashboards that you design

You'll have the following Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, and at least 8 years of relevant experience; 6 year with a Masters’ degree

  • Demonstrated experience of using analytics to inform business decisions

  • Demonstrated experience with advanced reporting in non-Workday tools (e.g., pivot tables/formulas in Excel)

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time

You may have one or more of the following Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have experience as an HR professional

  • You have experience working with human capital management systems and/or Workday

  • You have experience with Tableau, SQL, and/or other analytics/reporting tools (e.g., R, Python)

  • You have 3 Years of experience with a bachelors degree or 1 Year of experience with a Masters

Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
