About the Role

An outstanding and experienced professional to handle AIA Health Services portfolio to support healthcare management and provider management actively for business growth and sustainability by crafting business insights through data analytics (internal and external data).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze statistical, financial and competitive information to support pricing and risk recommendation associated with medical health portfolio.

  • Collaborate with Business Users to understand the requirement, design and develop statistical analysis and algorithms to support business scenarios.

  • Work on ad-hoc analysis, identify discrepancies and patterns, translate technical information and findings into easy to understand terms for the business.

  • Support and improve infrastructure of data warehouse in continuously strengthening capabilities for analytics.

  • Build executive Power BI dashboards, scorecards and reports for supervising critical metrics with business insights and actionable items for senior management team.

  • Conduct deep-dive analytics based on business priorities and identify improvement opportunities and able to prepare and present findings to senior management in a logical, concise, and eloquent manner.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.

  • Lead ad-hoc cross-functional data analytics project, as and when required.

Job Requirements:

Education: Tertiary qualification in numerate field, e.g., Actuarial Science, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistic, or Computer Science.

Work experience: A least 8-10 years of related working experience in healthcare analytic roles or relevant fields. Have exposure in data analytics project lifecycle, e.g., data requirement, extraction, exploration, transformation, development, implementation, insights. Solid understanding of data models, mining, segmentation, machine learning techniques and algorithms will be an advantage. Proficient in SQL programming or other database query tools and strong capability with dashboard tools including Power BI and Tableau.

General Requirements: Superb communication and presentation skill with the ability to articulating findings insights to various levels of stakeholders. Adaptive to change and flexible in an evolving, fast-paced, and demanding working environment.
