The Director of Finance Planning and Analysis is responsible for supporting the Travel + Leisure Co. segment with financial planning and analysis functions which include annual budget and long-range plan, monthly forecast, quarterly business reviews and other ad-hoc analysis required for management decision making as it relates to our general and administrative functions.  Create and maintain financial models in support of these processes.  Build upon existing structure to enhance and drive efficiency and accuracy in our forecast models.  Partner with cross functions teams to support new financial models as it relates to new product and capital initiatives. This role is hybrid in office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote Thursday and Friday.

How You'll Shine:

  • Lead the annual budget process inclusive of the long-range plan process.  Coordinate timelines, deliverables and assist in setting targets for the major functions within the vacation ownership segment.  Create annual budget presentation for executive management.

  • Lead the monthly forecast process inclusive of reporting on actual results.  Create monthly reporting packages identifying key drivers and metrics of forecasted performance against budget and prior forecasts.  Also support the investor relations/SEC reporting process on a quarterly basis.

  • Develop, implement and interpret complex financial and data modeling concepts driving effectiveness and efficiency for the leaders.

  • Assist/lead modeling efforts as it relates to identifying benefits related to new initiatives more specifically

  • on the IT capital side

  • Lead team of professionals and continue to challenge and drive engagement.  Provide opportunities to develop and build upon their skill sets. 

  • Performs other duties/ad-hoc analysis as needed

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting

  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, while focusing and executing tactically to ensure successful and timely outcomes.

  • Proven mastery of progressive financial modeling and valuation methodologies as well as sound general financial management practices.

  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish and maintain value added relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Detail oriented and process focused with evidence of driving measurable results within established timelines.

  • Ability to understand the business drivers behind the financial statements and how they affect financial performance.

  • Excellent business acumen and judgment

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver on deadlines

  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities in an efficient/timely manner, including effective delegation

  • Must be able to handle multiple competing priorities

  • Intermediate to Advance level of expertise with Excel

  • Experience with Peoplesoft preferred

  • Experience with Hyperion &/or Oracle preferred

  • Ability to create systematic, sustainable reporting.

  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills

  • 8+ years’ experience in a leadership capacity, with particular expertise in financial planning and analysis in a forward thinking rapidly expanding environment.

  • 3+ years’ experience in management of a related financial/accounting function
