Lumentum is looking for System Software Engineers Coop to participate in the development of software for a new generation of disruptive metrology products and participate in creating a lean and agile development culture.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work in a focused team to protype and deliver the Metrology System Software.
  • Work in an innovative software stack to deliver key software features to customers.
  • Work on React/Typescript functions for GUI development.
  • Work in a Rust infrastructure for backend.
  • Work on C++ algorithms to process point clouds.
  • Teamwork throughout the software and product verification cycle.
  •  Learn to design, research, and implement solutions to complex problems.

 

Education:

  • Working to complete a Bachelor or Master program in Engineering.

 

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of dimensional metrology, medical imaging or 3D imagining technology.
  • Understanding of Object Oriented design and implementation using C++ and Linux/Windows.
  • Ability to deliver in a new and dynamic environment.

 

Assets:

  • Previous coop experience.
