Job Description Summary:

Responsible for providing massage therapy services to patients and families as referred by physician or cancer services staff. Services are provided in the out-patient setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)LMTOH - Ohio State Medical Board as limited medical practitioner in massage therapy - National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and BodyworkNational Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and BodyworkNational Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

High school or one year college equivalent; AD in health related field. Licensure by the Ohio state Medical Board as limited medical practitioner in massage therapy. Certification in Lymphedema Therapy. Excellent communications skills (listening, etc.). Patient assessment ability to identify reportable patient emergency and ability to modify massage techniques in order to promote relaxation and comfort in debilitated patient. Knowledge of correct body mechanics principles. 7-10 years' experience in massage therapy practice.
