Location: HYBRID + 50% travel

Preferred - Lakeland, FL, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Fort Worth, TX, Lexington or Walton, Kentucky, Las Vegas, NV

Overview

The Manager of Continuous Improvement is responsible coordinating and delivering both onsite and online lean six sigma trainings (Yellow Belt, Takt, etc.). Conduct lean cultural pre-assessments and final assessments. Lead lean six sigma events (process mapping, brainstorming, 5S, etc.). Provide mentorship for Green Belt projects, co-facilitate VSM’s, Kaizens, etc. Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities. Identify and implement best practices and standardization across department and sites. This position will report to the Director, Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lean cultural pre-assessments and final assessments

  • Coordinate and deliver both onsite and online lean six sigma trainings (Yellow Belt, Time Study, Takt, Single Piece Flow, etc.).

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma events and continuous improvement projects such as process mapping, 5S, brainstorming, etc.

  • Provide mentorship for Green Belt projects

  • Co-facilitate VSM’s, Kaizens, etc.

  • Identify and implement best practices and standardization across department and sites

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field required

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher required

  • 5 years of experience leading in a lean environment required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of lean tools and methodologies, such as process mapping, 5S, kaizen, Gemba, root cause analysis, etc.

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and influence others at all levels of the organization

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical and time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

  • Ability to travel to other locations (up to 50% travel)
