As a Director of AI, Product Management, in the Compute and Networking Business Unit, you will be charged with defining and driving the strategy for DRAM portfolio that will position Micron for success in the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications.
This position entails demonstrating a variety of DRAM technologies and engaging in strategic partnerships with ecosystem players to develop a comprehensive AI solution portfolio. The role demands a deep understanding of AI infrastructure needs and the ability to innovate business models to deliver outstanding value to customers. You will build and lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from multiple engineering, marketing, and operations teams to develop the strategy, optimize the case, drive products through each stage of Micron’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, and lead the development activities of new products by specifying the requirements, setting priorities and handling tradeoff decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Ecosystem Partnership Development:
Actively build and maintain partnerships with key ecosystem players to enhance our AI solutions.
Collaborate with partners to develop comprehensive solutions that deliver value to customers and distinguish our offerings in the market.
Diverse DRAM Technology Integration:
Lead initiatives to integrate multiple DRAM technologies into our AI solutions, catering to a wide range of customer needs.
Stay updated on DRAM technology trends and assess their potential impact on our product offerings.
Advanced Market Research:
Conduct in-depth market research in areas like advanced packaging and DRAM technologies.
Use insights to identify market opportunities and align product development with evolving AI infrastructure demands.
Strategic Product and Business Planning:
Develop a product and business strategy that encompasses diverse DRAM technologies and innovative partnership models.
Ensure the strategy is adaptable to market trends and customer needs in the AI infrastructure space.
Innovative Business Models:
Innovate business models that demonstrate our partnerships and DRAM technology diversity.
Ensure these models are scalable, adaptable, and align with market and customer demands.
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
Create a product strategy that integrates various DRAM technologies and reflects our strong ecosystem partnerships.
Manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and innovations that drive market success and customer happiness.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Work with marketing and sales to develop strategies that highlight our outstanding AI solutions, emphasizing our ecosystem partnerships and DRAM technology strengths.
Equip sales teams with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively market our AI product portfolio.
Customer Engagement and Feedback:
Directly engage with customers to understand their AI infrastructure requirements and how our partnerships and technology choices can fulfill these needs.
Use customer insights to continuously refine and enhance our AI solutions.
Performance Analysis and Improvement:
Regularly analyze product performance, using data to inform strategic decisions and roadmap adjustments.
Conduct post-launch reviews to evaluate product success and identify improvement areas.
Qualifications:
Master degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, is helpful.
Minimum of 10+ years of product management experience in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on AI and DRAM technologies is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining partnerships within the technology ecosystem.
Extensive knowledge in AI technologies, architectures, various DRAM technologies, and advanced semiconductor packaging.
Proven track record to conduct market research and develop strategic product and business plans.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
Interpersonal skills for effective leadership and team collaboration.
Willingness to travel as needed.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$160,000.00 - $321,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
