Narvar is Growing! We are hiring a Customer Engineer who loves to understand the business requirements, provide a solution, do the hands-on implementation and wants to play a major role in the success of our customers. You have a strong technical aptitude, extensive customer-facing experience, and are comfortable in a fast-paced working environment. As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for scoping requirements, working with clients to integrate our APIs, and deploying our solutions for our largest enterprise and mid-market customers. You will be joining the Professional Services team of Customer Engineers and Project Managers who are passionate about our customers, solutions, and products.

Day-to-day

  • Complete technical onboarding for well-established enterprise retailers, the hottest direct-to-consumer brands and mid-market customers that use Shopify as the e-commerce platform
  • Provide consultative advice to our customers to ensure successful integration with Narvar’s solutions while maximizing product value
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) of Shopify and help the customers to provide innovative solutions using Narvar’s product suite
  • Leverage customers’ business requirements and product expertise to build technical specifications
  • Build and validate solutions via tooling and frontend technologies such as APIs, JSON, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Partner cross-functionally with both internal and external technical and business stakeholders
  • Help build a best-in-class international professional services team via documentation, process improvements by building internal tools, and internal training for Shopify.

What we’re looking for

  • You have 3 to 7 years of experience(or more) working as a Shopify Plus/Enterprise as a developer/architect/techno-functional consultant/subject matter expert
  • You have experience with consulting and delivering strategic e-commerce solutions
  • Proven ability to interact with Technical Leadership in a client-facing environment
  • Highly skilled in Shopify Plus and Enterprise ecosystem and API integrations
  • Shopify Expertise: Stay updated on the latest Shopify features like checkout extensibility, and Shopify APIs, applying this knowledge to enhance outcomes and propose innovative solutions. Ensure the design is architected correctly and meets Shopify’s best practices.
  • Exposure to headless commerce implementations using Shopify Plus and related technologies
  • Expertise in Shopify webhook subscription, and Shopify app development knowledge is good to have.
  • Experience working with web technologies such as APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript including fundamental coding skills preferably in JavaScript or related languages
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Bonus points for experience with iPaas, retail, e-commerce platforms, order management systems, inventory management, WMS, TMS, ERP, supply chain, or logistics
  • This role requires availability till 2 AM IST, so apply if you are ready to work with some remarkable customers in the EST time zone
