Are you interested in the agricultural industry and eager to contribute your skills to ensure a successful grain harvest? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Seasonal Grain Operations Workers at our Albion, MI Ethanol Production Plant.

As a Seasonal Grain Operations Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our grain operations during the busy harvest season for both day and night shift schedules. You'll have the chance to work closely with our experienced team, learning and honing your skills while making a meaningful impact on the success of our operation. All individuals must be flexible as work schedules can vary based on business needs.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for performing grain operations activities in the areas of inspection and general operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection activities such as weighing trucks, gathering product samples, product testing and evaluating product quality
• Operate grain handling and receiving equipment; provide customer service to delivery drivers and perform data entry of delivery details
• Monitor equipment and processes to identify issues; resolve or escalate issues as necessary
• Operate various types of mobile equipment
• Perform general housekeeping activities

What is expected of you and others at this level

• Minimal job-related experience
• Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
• Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver license
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Previous grain operations experience preferred
