The Caterpillar Rental & Used Division is hiring a Digital Deployment Manager to lead a team that manages our digital and rental collaboration efforts and digital tool adoption between Caterpillar, Dealers, and Customers.

Role Summary: Develop and manage deployment and marketing strategies for Cat Rental & Used digital products including anonymous, remembered and logged-in experiences for customers and back-end management for dealers. Lead a team of digital deployment consultants responsible for rental digital tool deployment and customer engagement in support of Rental Revenue growth.  You will play a significant part in collaborating with internal Rental and Used teams, suppliers and Cat dealers to achieve marketing objectives to contribute to innovations that drive digital marketing excellence.  

 

What You Will Do: 

  • Lead deployment strategy and dealer implementation of rental and used digital technology and data tools.  

  • Lead strategy and KPI alignment with the digital product management team and internal business partners 
  • Directly engage with dealers and field sales teams to drive activation on rental and used equipment leads 
  • Directly engage with dealer technology teams to ensure proper resourcing and timing for key digital platform integrations and determine coverage strategy for Digital Consultant team 
  • Represent the business on digital transformation projects to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives 
  • Evaluate existing marketing technology and data systems, sharing improvement recommendations. 
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage marketing technology roadmaps, resources, and risks in partnership with the digital product management team 
  • Research and recommend best practices for leveraging emerging marketing technology and data trends. 
  • Mentor teams and manage associated budgets.  
  • Monitor the marketing technology landscape and provide guidance to maximize performance.

  • Interprets available data and analyses when creating business plans. 
  • Recommends ways to position the organization for long-term competitiveness. 
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of digital marketing programs, and optimizes current digital marketing techniques and channels. 

Top Candidates Will Have: 

  • Rental experience in a customer facing role  
  • Strong experience with digital marketing strategies  

Additional Details: 

  •  Preferred Work Location: Peoria, IL, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX 
  •  Domestic Relocation is offered to preferred work locations  
  • Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week of onsite work 
  • Travel is up to 30%   
  • Additional locations for applicants current residing within a 50 mile radius of a Caterpillar location may be considered
