Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Quality Systems Specialist (L2) to join and support their team dedicated to the quality management of multiple job families based in Dallas, TX.  

The ideal candidate will have a positive disposition, a keen eye for detail, and an unwavering commitment to upholding the highest of quality standards in aircraft safety as a service to all customers. This scope of work requires an open mindset and adaptability to change; strong analytical, decision making, and leadership skills. A self-driven initiative, solid foundation and grasp of business acumen, and teamwork will be essential in successfully executing the duties and responsibilities of the position. Regular, ongoing interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another, and impact differing non-engineering processes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Dallas, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality inspection of articles, aircraft components

  • Maintain detailed documentation of all quality inspections performed

  • Escalate any findings requiring immediate and urgent attention in real-time, while conducting or participating in quality inspections and audits, upholding our commitment to safety for our customers and our teams

  • Uphold all policies and procedures outlined in Boeing’s Record Retention policies, ensuring the accuracy and traceability of all materials and processes

  • Input data into the quality database/SAP systems within the required timeframe

  • Report any damaged or nonconforming articles to Quality Management

  • Identification, quarantine, and processing of nonconforming articles per procedure

  • Professionally and effectively communicate results and progress with Quality Management

  • Ensure adherence to standards and procedures with federal regulations and Boeing’s internal policies

  • Flexibility in work both independently and in team environments, typically under general supervision

  • Interact and engage with multiple departments/disciplines while understanding the inter-relationships between components, with an understanding of how their products/processes affect one another, and the impact on non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business)

  • Complete all required training and certification on time, preferably before the expected due date

  • Participate in regular team meetings and trainings

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience performing Quality Inspection within an Aerospace environment

  • 1+ years of experience in working within procedures aimed at showing/finding compliance to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations

  • 1+ years of experience in preparing and maintaining quality directives, policies, processes, and procedures

  • 1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications

  • Ability to write technical documentation, including root cause documents which summarize incidents and provide corrective actions necessary to ensure there is not recurrence

  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data, summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources

  • Experience in aerospace aftermarket services; focused on parts, managed programs, and distribution services

  • Experience working with, supporting, and conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Experience working within a fast-paced team environment, which required strong written and verbal communication skills in English to frequently interact with Leadership or internal and external customer representatives

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $72,250 - $97,750
