Key Responsibilities:
As a RN Hospice Director, you’ll have the chance to:

• Lead financial operations across branches, implementing effective budgeting and accounting systems that ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
• Build and maintain high-performing teams by ensuring staffing levels meet patient care demands.
• Navigate and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party reimbursement regulations, resolving any payment or coverage issues.
• Drive operational efficiency by overseeing utilization review and continuously improving services.
• Play an active role in strategic planning for key accounts, participating in regular review meetings to ensure sustained growth and high performance.
• Ensure the accuracy of public-facing information and maintain your branch’s reputation for excellence.
• Step up in problem-solving, investigating complaints and deficiencies, and ensuring resolution.
• Lead with innovation, identifying areas for service enhancement and developing proposals to drive improvement.

Qualifications Needed to Succeed:

• 5+ years of Hospice Experience: A solid background in hospice care is essential.
• RN License: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of operations.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and managing teams within a Home Health or Hospice setting.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Homecare HomeBase is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of operations and financial management in a matrixed environment.
