As a Business Engineer – Workflow Engineering, you will work alongside the Principal/ Lead Business Engineers and Product Owner to define the product vision and feature roadmap. You will be part of a squad (Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers and Test Engineers) to define the requirements and help execute the roadmap and support the products that are delivered.

The Workflow Crew is responsible for driving the architecture, design, build and governance roadmap across the group for various workflow technologies. This is your opportunity to join an established company where there is a focus on personal and professional development.

You will:
Provide business analysis services and specialist support for the Workflow Crew
Gather and document information, conducts analyses of business needs through elicitation and management of business, functional and non-functional requirements
Liaise and maintain relationships with stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organisation, and to recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goal
Complete and oversee project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability
Provide ongoing assistance to support teams for functionality released into production
Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes
Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary
Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools
Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture

Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;
Demonstrated experience working as a Business Engineer in case management solutions/ workflow automation projects
Design case types, create applications and support the low code implementation and configurations.
Should have been part of end-to-end implementation of workflow automation/ customer service applications as Senior Business Engineer
Good knowledge of Pega OOTB features such as Flows, Flow Actions, Activities, User Interface, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), REST Connectors and SOAP Services etc.
Good understanding of journey centric methodologies for requirements gathering/ elaboration
Good understanding of integrations, cloud hosting as well as design and building of reusable components
Strong experience in documenting epics, features and user stories and building case type backlogs
Strong experience in conducting elaboration sessions and good understanding of DCOs (preferable)
Understanding the importance of controls and high-risk management in day-to-day activities with ability to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks
Ability to capture business requirements in a clear and concise manner and convert those requirements into system speak (Pega preferable)
Strong written and verbal communication skills-ability to communicate ideas and vision effectively and with impact to business and technical teams
Excellent stakeholder management skills as well as ability to work well in a team
Experience using Jira and Confluence as well as data analysis, modelling and workflow design
Experience working in an Agile project environment
Certified Pega Business Architect (preferably version 7 or later)
Pega Technical Background (certified as CSA)
