Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior QA Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, automating test cases, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers and other QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle to perform all types of system testing.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible to:

  • Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute both manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and adherence to standards. 
  • Conduct performance and security testing to ensure application scalability, reliability, and resilience. 
  • Create and maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of test results to identify defects and trends.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Continuously research and adopt the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends. 

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

Technical Skills:

  • Proven track record in designing, developing, and executing comprehensive automated test suites for complex web application on desktop and mobile browsers.
  • Experience with 1 or more Test Automation Frameworks such as Selenium, or Playwright or Cypress. etc
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, NUnit) and methodologies (e.g., BDD, TDD).
  • Experience with API testing tools and techniques (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to analyze test results, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve product quality.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7- 10 years of relevant work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. 
  • Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB Certified Tester is a plus.
  • Experience with testing GenAI application is a plus.
