The Proof of Income Team (POI) is responsible for verifying customers income to ensure payslips and other supporting documents provided accurately reflect income declared on an application. In this role you work closely with the Commercial team and introducers.

You will play a key role in ensuring daily risk and compliance regulations are met.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities;

Core responsibilities;

  • Assist the team by working on Proof of Income verifications and any related requests

  • Managing the workflow of verifications, emails & phones

  • Complete tasks within turnarounds (SLA's), whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality

  • Verify all customer information with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring all requirements adhere and meet our compliance standards, credit policy and procedure

  • Understanding of responsible lending

  • Showcase strong work ethics, high quality, and time management

  • Work collaboratively with distributions team and other divisions across the business 

  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders to build strong relationships

 

Experience & Skills;

  • Previous experience in a customer service or operations role within Banking and Finance

  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong Problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with high level of accuracy

  • A flexible approach and a willingness to learn, upskill and cross-train across the team

  • Strong and effective communication
