Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is hiring a Program Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on the Strike program. This opportunity will be located in Melbourne, FL.
This role will lead a team within the Strike Division development organization as part of a large, classified program. Efforts associated with the team includes execution of tasks supporting the safety design certification activities required for Nuclear Certification of the B61-12 on an existing complex airborne weapon system. The effort is currently on contract. The selected candidate will lead this effort with a team of people through development, and implementation phases. The position requires a high degree of collaboration skills working across multiple internal and government stakeholders contributing to the safety design certification, as well as the ability to provide insight into the program status at various levels of leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 5 years) of related experience as defined below.
Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in: project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance of large government technical statements of work
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with an in-scope investigation within the last 6 years and the ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DODD 3150.02
Leadership experience in a team environment such as program manager, IPT leader/deputy, functional or lead
Experience with Safety Design Certification and/or Nuclear Weapons Integration programs
CAM Certification
Proven track record as a successful Program Manager on hardware integration and software development programs
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
A current DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to acquire SCI clearance
Current Special Program Access (PAR/SAP)
Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
