The Role

We're looking for a Lawyer (3–6 PQE) to join our market-leading Commercial Litigation practice in our stunning Brisbane office. You'll work alongside Partners Emily Tranter and Tim Jones and their high-performing teams on matters that genuinely matter.

This role will involve working on large-scale, complex litigation for major corporate and government clients with opportunities to work on a varied portfolio of work . Responsibilities span the full life cycle of litigation from assisting with commercial negotiations and ADR processes to working with clients and counsel across all stages of court litigation including interlocutory hearings and trial. You will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters across diverse sectors including energy and resources, high-end property and public sector disputes as well as commissions and inquiries.

Skills & Experience
 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Between 3-6 years’ experience as a Lawyer
• Commercial litigation, contentious and regulatory experience
• Strong academic achievements
• Familiarity with Supreme and/or Federal Court litigation
• Thrive in an environment that values independence balanced with a collaborative approach, initiative, and a strong work ethic
• A strong focus on delivering exceptional client service
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; required for building effective client relationships and contributing to a positive team environment
• An appetite to learn and develop in the role, utilising mentoring opportunities from senior team members
